It's time for our latest instalment of Work It From Home. Take a step into the lives of our community as they reveal how they're styling it up from the comfort of their own home.
Today it's Natasha Todd's turn. Self-proclaimed "high-street fashionista" Natasha knows how to dress well and we've long-admired her It-girl sense of style. We caught up with her, virtually speaking, to find out how she's been living it up at her home in Suffolk with boyfriend Ollie and pet rabbit Lloyd.
On Life at Home
"I'm living in the lovely county of Suffolk with my boyfriend Ollie and our rabbit Lloyd - he's an absolute character and very cute. After five years in London I needed a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the city. I work for an agricultural firm, which complements my countryside living perfectly, and I've been lucky that the transition from office to home has been quite smooth. I'm particularly enjoying the short walk to the kitchen; the tea is constantly on tap."
On Routine
"I start my day around 7.30am with a much-needed cup of coffee as I take time to scroll Instagram and apply my skincare and makeup. Work starts at 8:30am so it's straight to my desk to get a few hours in. I'm finding the days are passing quickly and before I know it, I'm logging out and getting ready for a run. In the evenings I'm making dinner and binging my not-so current TV obsession, Lost."
On Staying Active
"Most days, Ollie and I will go for an evening run before dinner and on the weekends, we take a longer stroll. I feel like people are appreciating the outdoors more now and when you pass by on your walks (at a distance, of course) I find I'm getting more smiles and 'hellos' - it's lovely."
On Style
"Lately, I've been wearing a lot more colour, which has made me fall back in love with my wardrobe - I feel it's a truer reflection of my personality now. Don't get me wrong, I still love neutrals, but dressing in colour instantly lifts my mood."
On Shoes
"Shoes are often the pièce de résistance to my outfits. They either make or break the finished look, so I love having options to play with, as evidenced by my bedroom floor."
On Winding Down
"Ollie and I like to bake in the evenings and especially on the weekends. I've never been much of a baker, but you can't keep me away from the oven these days. Recently, we baked Anna Newton’s cookies recipe. I highly recommend doing so, they were really tasty. Other than that, wine helps."
On Future Plans
"Honestly, I just can't wait to see my friends again. Ollie and I are planning a big weekend break somewhere in the UK for us all to go on so we can spend some quality time together and enjoy the summer if possible. We're keen to travel more, too. Oahu in Hawaii is top of our travel list; it looks so beautiful."
On Being Thankful
"This experience has made me truly thankful for the NHS and the people on the frontline who are working tirelessly to help make our world safe again."
